How do I book and appointment?
All appointments must be made online only. There are many ways to book online: You can click the highlighted text in this sentence to book, find the book now button on any page, or refer to the “Services & Booking” option at the top of the website.
What payment methods do you accept?
Only card payments are accepted at this time and will be required at checkout.
What should I expect from my first appointment?
At the therapist’s arrival, massage equipment will be setup, your goals for the session will be discussed and then you’ll receive your massage. After the massage, equipment will be packed up, self-care tips may be recommended to you and then the therapist will leave your home.
Do I have to fully undress?
Clients are asked to dress to comfort level. You may undress fully, wear underwear, or be fully clothed. Regardless of your preference, draping is required by law and breasts and genitals must remain covered at all times.
Should I talk during the massage?
It’s your massage, and it’s your home. If you want to talk, we’re all ears. If you’d like a quiet massage with no talking, then that’s fine too. A portable Bluetooth speaker will be provided for all massages and music requests are more than welcome.
Does getting a massage hurt?
No, massage should not hurt at all. That includes deep tissue massage. Granted, everyone has a different level of pain tolerance. The type of pain you should be feeling, if any at all, is an “Ah, it hurts so good” kind of feeling. However, if at any point during the massage you feel unwanted pain or discomfort, please DO NOT hesitate to inform the therapist.
Is it normal to be sore after getting a massage?
It is possible for certain individuals to feel sore after a massage. This type of soreness typically feels like the effects of a hard workout. If you happen to be one of these individuals, we can make adjustments to future sessions.
When should I avoid a massage?
You should avoid a massage if you are sick. Your therapist doesn’t want to get sick, and they don’t want to get their clients sick. If you feel you may be “under the weather”, and especially if you have a fever, it’s best to postpone massage until you’re feeling better and have shown no signs or symptoms for 24 hours.
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your pain, goals, and budget. Some clients book more often, while others book less. On average, clients receive massage once a month. Although, it’s recommended every two weeks for maximum benefits.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee of the full cost of the session. However, all clients are given a one-time pass for cancellations less than 24 hours. Cancellation fees may be waved (on a case-by-case basis) if the cancellation was made due to an emergency.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not currently accept insurance.
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for military and first responders.
